Manchester United are in desperate need of reinforcements and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already began recruiting for January.
According to reports, the Red Devils are ready to swoop in on an exciting, young duo from Leicester — although it looks set to cost them.
It’s also understood United have reached a “verbal agreement” to sign a Croatian World Cup hero for a cutthroat price.

UNITED CLOSE IN ON FOXES DUO
Manchester United are set to step up their pursuit of £130million-rated (A$239m) Leicester duo James Maddison and Ben Chilwell.
The Red Devils have had a shocking start to the season and lie just two points above the Premier League relegation zone.
Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to be handed a hefty transfer budget in January, with calls for him to sign at least five new players.
And United have sent scouts to watch the Foxes pair during their recent matches against Tottenham and Liverpool and it’s understood the Old Trafford chief was impressed with Maddison and Chilwell.
A United source said: “We have already compiled a scouting report of both of them. We have been watching them for a few years now.
“They fit all the right requirements and criteria in terms of quality and keeping an English core which is important.
“Ole likes them but it would be difficult to get them both at the same time. We will have to wait and see what happens.”
RED DEVILS ‘REACH VERBAL AGREEMENT’ TO SIGN MANDZUKIC
Manchester United have reportedly reached a “verbal agreement” to sign Mario Mandzukic from Juventus in January.
The Croatian international striker almost joined the Red Devils last summer but opted to stay in Turin.
But he has been frozen out by the Serie A giants this season — and now TuttoSport claim his camp have agreed terms for him to join United once the transfer window reopens.
33-year-old Mandzukic snubbed a £7m-a-year ($13m) deal to join Qatar outfit Al Rayyan last month.
Now he appears set to be heading to Old Trafford in a huge boost for under-pressure Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

ARSENAL ‘IN TALKS WITH FENERBAHCE’ OVER OZIL LOAN
Fenerbahce have reportedly opened talks with Arsenal about bringing Mesut Ozil to Turkey on loan in January.
The German playmaker has been left out of the last three matchday squads leading to speculation his career at the Emirates is coming to an end.
And it has been claimed that the Gunners are willing to ship him off on loan in the New Year and are even prepared to pay the majority of his wages.
30-year-old Ozil has featured just once in the Premier League this season, with Unai Emery preferring the likes of Dani Ceballos and Joe Willock instead.
Asked why he was omitted from the squad that faced Standard Liege last week, Emery said: “I am thinking every time to decide the best players for each match and the best players in the squad to play and to help us.
“When I decided he shouldn’t be in the squad it’s because I think other players deserved it more.”
Fenerbahce are believed to be willing to offer him an escape route, with Turkish outlet Takvim claiming they are set to revive their interest in the World Cup winner.
