Women’s World Cup 2019 referees: Kate Jacewicz, Casey Reibelt

Two Australian referees have been selected among the 75 match officials for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Experienced referees Kate Jacewicz and Casey Reibelt have both been named in the contingent heading to France for the 2019 tournament.

For both referees, this is their first Women’s World Cup.

“It was an amazing feeling to get the call late last night from (FFA Director of Referees) Ben (Wilson) regarding the appointment and it is hard to put into words your feelings when your lifelong dream comes true,” Jacewicz said in a statement.
